
Overview
Aluminum-housed resistors use an extruded aluminum-alloy enclosure with non-inductive wirewound resistance wire potted in inorganic silicone gel — delivering excellent heat dissipation, mechanical strength and vibration resistance for high-power, high-heat applications. Used wherever energy dissipation (heat) plus high power and high stability are required: industrial equipment / power systems, new-energy / energy-storage systems, automotive electronics / EVs, test & lab equipment and more.
